Searched on website and this location showed they have 3 of snowblowers of particular model I wanted. They were also on sale for Black Friday. Called the store to make sure, as I’m an hour away and the lady confirmed. Went to pick up the unit, payed and drove at the back when the guy tells me they have only 1 of that model and it’s an open box. The weather was bad, they were closing, I said, I’ll take it and will deal with the store next day. Took few days to get the same lady whom I spoke before. Told her, if the store sells open box item, it’s stated at purchase with some discount. I said I’m not expecting half price but usually open box is knocked down 10-15%. She said she understands, she will take it to the manager. She did call me back few days later with the answer, sorry no discount, and nothing she can do further about it.
I’m just another unhappy customer, as I can see by comments.

Looked online for stools, said they had 12 in stock. Drove over an hour to the store to get them as they said they were in store and the lady told me that they don’t have any and that they haven’t had them in 2 years!! Said I would have to order them in and it would take two weeks to come in…yet their website says order by 2pm to pick up TODAY. Really need to update the inventory on the website!! Don’t waste your time

Great store great staff .. I feel it's absolutely unacceptable to not share with all customers that the flooring they sell has formaldehyde in it ....thxs to all those that research this as most flooring sale people will not share this with you or worse they know and say they don't....thxs to all those who have called wanting safe floors ...

Sales manager is terrible. Service sucks. Owners should train staff properly if they are going to leave them on their own. Don't buy anything that you may have to return. They don't honour the rona return policy. (To the owners. Don't bother replying. I know you do that for show anyway.)

Went in on Saturday to purchase about $160 worth of electrical supplies. I needed assistance as I have zero knowledge on electrical I knew what I wanted based on a shopping list provided by the gentleman going to be doing the work. I asked to speak to someone who had knowledge on electrical and who could assist me and I was told sorry Jeff isn’t in until Tuesday, I asked if there’s anyone else who could possibly help me as I’m here now and was told I would need to come back on Tuesday. Very poor service .

Call around for different building supplies.
When I called here they had what I needed in stock.
It was a bit of a drive, but like I said they had what I needed.
Inside of the stores a little on the small side.
They have an addition which is a kitchen bathroom showroom area. Really nice.
No lineups.
Staff was very friendly.
Was able to get it in and out quickly.
People in the warehouse were helpful in loading up the lumber.

Entered store and requested logik-e hardwood pellets. Website listed 1 in inventory, however "good cop" (you'll see where this is going), said store had 2. I ordered and paid for both. Went around back. Young man spent 10-15 mins looking for it. Said he couldn't find it and directed me back to customer service. Upon entering, "good cop" said she wasn't surprised. Appearing now is "bad cop" who inquired as to problem. When informed I was looking for wood pellets, "...all of them are over there...". (for smoking and grilling). I said I was not looking for that type and offered to hold until the next shipment. "Bad cop" says, "...were not likely getting anymore." and promptly returned to her customer. "Good cop" gave me a full refund and apologized.

She was fine. The other lady soured my experience. Funny part was, I drive across the road to FS Coop. Not only do they have hardwood pellets, they have several bags right at the front door.

I will NOT be returning to Hanover Rona. Customer service is NOT what Hanover Rona has in abundance. Tiss a shame.

Customer experiences are what people pay attention to. Hanover Rona would do well to significantly improve on that for the future.

We waited 12 minutes for assistance and when someone came to offer service she was very rude. We asked her for "steel wool" and she said she didn't have it. They did. Next aisle over. When we lined up at the cash register with 2 others waiting she reluctantly wandered over to ring us through. We are never returning but opting to go to Home Depot from here on in..we don't need the attitude.
