Just visited the garden center today (May 21, 2024) and holy moly…it is stocked! It was especially lovely to see such an abundance of garden plant but also a huge amount of tools, landscaping materials and all manner of garden supplies. The young woman who was helping me load the really heavy landscape rocks was outstandingly helpful and friendly.

I would like to write a review for Rona after my experience today because I was astonished by the outstanding customer service I experienced today. I had called the night before to book an appointment with the kitchen designer and was greeted by Nigel, assuring me that he would leave a message for the kitchen designer. I verified he did because I went into the store to purchase an item. Nigel was respectful and polite on the phone and in person. He is a gentleman. I spoke to the store manager in the morning. I believe Bramer was his name, and he booked me for an appointment promptly. I had the pleasure of meeting Abid Iqbal, who was respectful, knowledgeable, and understanding. He was provided measurements and quickly created a kitchen plan. He walked me through, and we checked off everything on the quote to kitchen design, and it was right on. Abid, you were amazing. Keep up the outstanding work. At the cash, I was greeted by Sujan, who was a polite and respectful gentleman. The store was closing, and they did not pressure me to leave or force me out. From the store manager, to the kitchen designer, to Nigel and Sujan i commend you all for the excellent communication to lead me to purchase my kitchen from your store. It's guys like you that motivates one to shop with you and keep up the outstanding work I give you all a 10 star!

Very rude staff, I ordered a brand new snowblower online for in-store pickup, the staff bought the snow blower out without a box, when I showed them that I ordered a new snow blower, they told me that this is what they have. I asked to speak to a manager who tells me that this is a display item from last year and it is brand new and I am able to return it if I don't like it, I double check with him if I am able to return the item for any reason, he looks at his assistant manager badge as if I am an idiot (I double checked because the employee who bought the snowblower out told me I could not return the item). If I order a brand new item, the store should call me to let me know that they have a display unit and not an in-box unit and I should not be paying the same amount for a display unit as I would for a brand new unit.

Store was near empty maybe 10 other customers, employees shocked and appalled when I asked for assistance. Not sure if gross incompetency or purposeful attempt at kicking their already dying store while its down.

Lack of knowledgeable staff though some of them were trying to help. A training on the lines of production and business is expected as I had experienced some inconvenience in the department of bathroom.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Store is well stocked - have been able to get stuff here that I couldn't find at Home Depot a few times now. Would recommend going here before Home Depot in future - they're right next door but I always have better luck at this Rona. Staff have also been really helpful and friendly. They even had a sale on some really nice, high quality Christmas stuff before the holiday rush this year which was great. Got a really nice little wall mounted fireplace on sale.

Absolutely horrible customer service, as usual from Lowes. I avoid this place because I always have problems there, went to Candiantire and they didn't have enough stain for my project so I went to Lowes across the street to get one more. With Lowes being more expensive in everything I tried to price match. After waiting 10 minutes for them to look everything up I was told they couldn't do it because it was not the same. I said they are the same and I have the receipt and the can in the car from Canadiantire and I can show you its the same. I was told they can't accept receipts and that they can't do it. Why would I buy 2 different stains for the same project? Below is a picture of what I bought at Canadiantire and Lowes, imagine that, they are the same product, with the same sku. Absolutely ridiculous. AVOID LOWES AT ALL COSTS!
